We are thrilled to share a video piece by long time client and friend Jyll Bradley, this film-portrait describes a day in the life of the sculpture ‘Brigitte’ designed by Bradley, and fabricated by Darbyshire. The sculpture consists of an array of edge lit acrylic strips, housed in an aluminium and oak casing, the cases also contain LEDs which illuminate the sculpture at night.

Brigitte is a film portrait of a new colourfield sculpture by Jyll Bradley. The sculpture, mounted on the south facing wall of Strange Cargo Arts in Cheriton, Kent was filmed over the course of 24 hours using time-lapse photography and captures the changes brought about in the work through the movement of the sun as well as the surrounding world in which it resides. Brigitte represents a ‘day in the life’ of a work of art.
