Mishka Henner’s first solo show at Carroll / Fletcher, entitled “Black Diamond, opened last month, and is on view until May 31 . Darbyshire made sleek aluminium tray frames for Mishka’s large scale photographs, comprised of four distinct but interrelated series of work. These four series are based on the collection and mediation of publicly available information sourced through social media, the internet and drones, and considers the way in which these technologies are used by the government, intelligence agencies and corporations.
