Darbyshire acquires international ISPM15 accreditation for wooden packaging materials
The risks of introducing and spreading tree pests such as wood boring longhorn beetles and pine wood nematodes through the transport of packaging material made of unprocessed wood, is an issue with most international customs clearance agencies.
At Darbyshire, we are pleased to announce that we have successfully earned an official certificate of authorization issued by the International Standard for a Phytosanitary Measure. We can now offer crates and carry cases to our clients which are stamped with our unique ISPM15 mark, confirming they are made of heat-treated wood. This will ensure that our clients’ crates and carry cases will comply with the UK’s international trading partners’ implemented landing regulations for wood packaging material based on ISPM15.
